All suggestions are it will be a fine and mostly sunny day, so hydrate then re-hydrate then do it again! Extended BOM forecast = Fine, with less than 25% chance of Rain. Min 12 Max 25

Registration

The registration tent and main waiting area is located at Kurilpa Park (see Map). Team name and individual details will be held at the registration desk – you will receive waiver and runners bibs when you register. Please arrive in time to meet your start time. All team members do not need to register at the same time – allowing those starting early to turn up first HOWEVER please make sure you are registered well in advance of your own start time for the team.

Presentations

All runners are encouraged to stay on for the Presentation to each category winner at approx 3.30- 4.00pm.

Start/Finish and Transition Point

The start, finish and transition point for all relay runners is directly in front of the registration tents in Kurilpa Park. These will be located inside the park grounds.

Personal Security

There will not be a cloak room. Whilst we will have a general waiting area where you can keep your belongings security of personal belongings is your own responsibility.

Timing

All Individual Runners and Teams will have their time recorded. We will not record individual splits for participants running in a team. Only the teams total result will be recorded.

Race results

Will be submitted to the Australian Ultra Runners Association for any AURA registered ultra runners.

Race Bibs

Runners must have their race bibs visible at all times.

Authority

Always listen and respect volunteers and marshals. Decision by the Event organiser or Race Director is final.

Acts of God

The Event Organiser and Race Director maintain the right to cancel, postpone or stop the event at any time should weather conditions become dangerous. In any such event no refunds will be offered.

Masseurs

We will have professional Masseurs who have volunteered their time across the course of the day should you require a tune up. This is a free service and should not be abused i.e. no full body massages….

First Aid

We will have personnel qualified in first aid on the course. All water stations have communications back to the main waiting area. In the event of an injury sustained and depending on the nature of the injury you will either remain in situ or make your way back to the nearest water station. We will assess the injury and coordinate first aid and/or medical evacuations if required. There is vehicle access to most of the course. A hospital is located within 10km.
