Fun for all the Family
Whilst families will probably not last the entire duration of the run, we encourage all families to head down and cheer the racers home (throughout the day we will have some fun activities for kids). The Kelly Carlton Legacy (KCL) annual ‘Hairathon’ will be back this year so why not treat yourself to a haircut, styling or scalp massage. All proceeds of the Hairathon go towards Ovarian cancer research at Mater, Brisbane.
More info to come later!
Best Viewing Points for the Family
If you’d like to take a stroll along the river there’s plenty to do and see at South Bank for the entire family. The closest playground is situated near the Wheel of Brisbane (approx 15 min walk from Kurilpa Park). If you wish to walk further afield there are a number of playgrounds heading towards Kangaroo Point, this would also allow you to cheer on the runners along the way!
